Our approach
Apple Tree Psychology uses a strengths-based approach, believing that building a therapeutic relationship is one of the most important foundations for creating change. Therapy is meaningful work aimed at helping children and families make sense of the world, learn to regulate emotions, build stronger friendships, and develop resilience. Sessions are tailored to meet each child where they are developmentally—younger children participate in more play-based activities. The provider acknowledges that while therapy can bring up big emotions and address significant challenges, it can also be engaging and enjoyable for children. The service is grounded in evidence-based, effective practice.
