- Community Occupational Therapy
- OT visits clients in their own environment to assess the entire situation and ensure suitable assistance and supports are in place. Each session is personalised to suit the individual and their needs, with workplace assessments also available.
- Clinic-Based Upper Limb Therapy
- Clinic-based rehabilitation using traditional therapy techniques, Computer Based Therapy, and Constraint Induced Therapy. Each client's program is designed according to their goals and functional needs.
- Robotic and Computer Based Therapy
- Uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to create interactive games for rehabilitation. The robots gently move patients' fingers, hands and arms, helping to re-train the brain and regain independent motion.
- Constraint Induced (CI) Therapy
- A form of rehabilitation therapy that improves function in arms or legs following stroke, brain injury or multiple sclerosis by increasing use of the affected extremity. Proven to work on chronic patients with long-standing side effects.
- Support Coordination
- Experienced Support Coordinators assist with all NDIS needs, helping clients reach their goals and ensure funding is used effectively. They coordinate appropriate therapists and support workers to build capacities and daily living skills.
- Allied Health Assistant Services
- Assistance with retraining of daily living activities including showering and dressing, community access, shopping, executive functioning, and in-home upper limb programs.
- Creative Art Sessions
- Weekly group sessions on Fridays incorporating upper limb therapy with different techniques and materials in a supported, social environment.
- NDIS Services
- Comprehensive NDIS support including plan preparation, reassessment support, and navigation of the NDIS system for Self Managed, Plan Managed, or NDIS managed plans.
- Specialised Seating and Wheelchair Prescription
- Assessment and prescription of specialised seating and wheelchair solutions.
- Home Modifications
- Assessment and implementation of home modifications to support client needs.
- Equipment Trials and Prescription

Our approach
AOTS uses a personalised, community-based occupational therapy approach with a strong focus on upper limb rehabilitation. Sessions take place either in the client's own home and community environment or at the clinic in Moorabbin, depending on the service type. The practice specialises in traditional therapy techniques alongside innovative computer-based and constraint-induced therapy, with each client's program designed according to their individual goals and functional needs. Computer-based rehabilitation devices help keep clients motivated by allowing them to externally focus on interactive programs while practising repetitive movements essential to recovery. The clinic also offers creative art sessions in a supported, social environment that incorporates upper limb therapy techniques. Sessions are tailored to suit each individual's specific situation and needs.
