Our approach
Robert uses cognitive behavioural therapy to help clients develop new ways of thinking and responding, with the goal of creating meaningful change. Within a warm and empathic atmosphere, he takes time to understand each child's unique circumstances and emotions. He recognises that every child has individual strengths, and works to identify and develop these as catalysts for positive change. This strengths-based approach is combined with evidence-informed practice, ensuring therapy remains grounded in the latest research and clinical best practice.

Robert Thomas is a Registered Clinical Psychologist with 20+ years of experience. He holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a Master of Clinical Psychology, and is a Member of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists. He is Medicare-approved to provide Specialist Psychology Services and has extensive experience working with children, adolescents and adults across a range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioural problems and adjustment difficulties.
