Our approach
HHBS takes a person-centred, strengths-based approach grounded in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). Sessions focus on understanding the function and underlying needs behind challenging behaviours, then building meaningful skills and independence through evidence-based strategies delivered in natural environments—at home, school, or in the community. Practitioners work collaboratively with families to create lasting, positive change rather than simply managing or suppressing behaviour. The approach includes comprehensive functional behaviour assessments, individualised behaviour support plans, and ongoing data-driven monitoring to track progress toward four measurable goals per client.
