Sessions last 1.5 hours and focus on building self-belief, teaching study strategies, and providing foundational subject-specific support including homework help and exam preparation. The program is designed to help children work smarter, not harder, by changing their mindset, maximizing their strengths, and developing lifelong learning techniques rather than relying on rote memorization.

• Meet the team

  The tutoring team consists of Academic Personal Trainers (APTs) who are employed and managed directly by A Team Tuition after passing rigorous recruitment, training, and onboarding processes, including WWCC and Police checks. The company handpicks APTs based on their values and mentoring abilities, rejecting 94% of applicants who may have strong grades but lack the skills to inspire students. All APTs receive on-the-job training and are assigned a Success Manager for unlimited support. The leadership team provides mentoring and upskilling programs to equip APTs with tools for success. The company was founded by Hayden McEvoy in 2012, drawing on his transformational educational experiences, and the program was crafted in collaboration with child psychologists and educators.
