Our approach
Erudite Tuition provides one-on-one private tutoring tailored to each student's needs through careful tutor matching. Sessions focus on the specific subjects and challenges your child faces, whether in-home or online, with tutors who understand the Australian school system. The approach emphasises finding the right personality and learning style match so students feel more confident and engaged with their studies. The online classroom keeps lessons organized with shared whiteboards for working through problems together, and recordings stay accessible for review after class. Students work through their school subjects at their own pace, with tutors who are either active teachers or graduates from leading Australian universities.
Working with families
Parents receive reports after each session detailing what their child worked on and their progress. Communication is easy to manage regarding any concerns or adjustments needed, and the service is responsive if a tutor match isn't working—you can request a swap. Families have visibility into upcoming lessons and can access recordings of sessions, keeping parents informed about their child's learning. The service emphasizes clear communication throughout the tutoring relationship, with transparent pricing and no hidden fees so parents understand exactly what to expect.
Your first visit
At the trial lesson, you share details about your child's year level, subject, and specific challenges they're facing. A tutor is carefully matched based on subject strength, availability, learning style, and personality fit. You then see how the tutor teaches and observe how your child responds during the actual lesson. If the first lesson isn't the right fit, there's no cost—you don't pay for it. After the trial, you can decide whether to continue with that tutor, ask for an adjusted match, or stop if it's not right, with no lock-in commitment required.
