Our approach
Evidence-based psychological treatment is tailored to each young person's individual needs and circumstances. Sessions are collaborative, with the psychologist, client and family working together to set treatment goals and work towards them. The service offers a range of therapeutic options including standard psychological sessions (50 minutes), psychological assessments, group activities, and adventure therapy that combines outdoor environments with therapeutic outcomes. Treatment often involves six or more sessions depending on the issues involved. The psychologist is trained to work with a wide range of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, grief and interpersonal difficulties.
