  • Our approach

Yarran uses a family-centred, evidence-based approach that recognises families as children's first and most important teachers. Sessions are delivered through a hybrid model—one-on-one in your home, at spacious, child-friendly clinics in East Gosford or Bateau Bay, in early education settings, or in community spaces. Therapy is play-based and routine-focused, helping children build independence and confidence in their everyday lives. Each child's program is tailored to their needs, with focus on engagement, independence, and social participation within natural environments and routines.

  • Working with families

Yarran partners actively with parents and carers to build knowledge, skills, and confidence so families can support their child's growth in everyday life. The service respects and values each family's unique knowledge, preferences, and strengths, ensuring tailored support. Communication includes feedback and updates from therapy teams, and the service acknowledges family capability and competence while utilising and extending their strengths and resources. Support is provided across home, education, and community settings to maximise learning in natural environments.
