  • Our approach

Whole Therapy tailors therapy to each person's individual needs and interests, creating meaningful and enjoyable sessions. The team values a person-centred approach, with clinicians who prioritise building strong relationships and understanding what matters most to each client. Sessions incorporate clients' activities of interest and strengths, delivered in their own environment where possible. The focus is on working collaboratively with clients and their families to set and achieve goals at their own pace, whether that's through building daily living skills, regaining communication abilities, or working toward personally meaningful outcomes. Every clinician is committed to making therapy engaging, effective and goal-oriented, ensuring people feel valued and understood throughout their progress.

  • Working with families

Whole Therapy values collaboration with families and support networks as central to therapy. The team works closely with families to understand each person's individual needs and priorities, developing goals that truly matter to them. Clinicians prioritise open communication and build strong, trusting relationships with both clients and their families. The approach is inclusive and person-centred, with families recognised as important partners in the therapeutic journey. You can reach the team on 0450 430 955 or admin@wholetherapy.com.au to discuss your child's needs and how the service can support your family.

Whole Therapy provides Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy.

Which areas does Whole Therapy cover?

How do I connect with Whole Therapy?

You can call +61 450 430 955, email them and visit their website.

Do I need a referral to see a speech pathologist?

No referral is needed to see one privately. You only need a GP referral if you want to access Medicare rebates or are going through certain funded pathways.

Is speech therapy covered by the NDIS?

It can be, usually under Capacity Building / Improved Daily Living, if it aligns with your child's plan goals. Check your plan or ask your support coordinator.

At what age should we see a speech pathologist?

There's no "too early." If you have concerns about your child's talking or understanding at any age, an assessment can clarify whether support would help.

How long are sessions and how many will we need?

Session length varies between clinics and services, so check it with the provider when you book. The number depends on your child's goals; the pathologist will recommend a plan after the initial assessment.
