  • Our approach

The service uses a holistic approach to learning that addresses the root cause of academic issues, not just the symptoms. Personalised tutoring sessions are tailored to each student's individual needs, with tutors skilled at incorporating brain breaks and varying session lengths to keep learners engaged. Online sessions are conducted via Zoom with interactive digital whiteboards and screen sharing, while in-person lessons take place in a bright, well-resourced learning centre with flexible classrooms and dedicated spaces. The mentoring component focuses on building academic skills, confidence and personal growth, helping students develop the tools they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.

  • Working with families

Families are at the centre of the model, with the provider working in partnership with families, schools, specialists and community partners. Parents receive term reports when students attend a minimum of 9 sessions during the term, and can book complimentary 10-minute learning consultations each year with the Head of Education to discuss their child's progress and goals. The centre's reception area includes a library, children's activity station, and resources and pamphlets for parents. The provider also offers mentoring available for parents and students, and multi-session family discounts of 10% when families enrol in 2 or more sessions per week, encouraging broader family engagement in the learning journey.

  • Meet the team

The team includes the Founder and Director, Darian Brooker, an award-winning keynote speaker, educator and resilience expert, and Sophie, the Head of Education, who is a passionate and qualified teacher with over a decade's experience in teaching and leading. The provider employs 50+ highly skilled tutors and mentors carefully selected for their expertise and passion for education, including qualified teachers, university students studying fields like education, law, medicine, physics and speech pathology, graduates, and experienced educational support workers. Specialist teachers hold specific qualifications or have undergone company-level training in areas including literacy intervention, dyslexia specialisation, numeracy intervention, dyscalculia specialisation, EALD specialisation, neurodivergence support, and social and emotional wellbeing. All tutors undergo rigorous screening and ongoing training to stay updated with the latest teaching strategies.

  • Your first visit

The first step is to book a paid trial session, which allows your child to experience a lesson without any lock-in terms, giving you the freedom to withdraw penalty-free if it doesn't feel like the right fit. Families are also entitled to one complimentary 10-minute online learning consultation each year with the Head of Education to discuss your child's progress and goals. A qualified teacher oversees all learning plans and progress reports, ensuring expert guidance throughout the process. Once enrolled, the provider offers academic assessments if needed (dyscalculia and dyslexia screening, literacy and numeracy assessments available for primary school students and years 7-12). Term overviews are provided when students attend a minimum of 9 sessions during the term.
