  • Our approach

For younger children, the clinic creates a safe, nurturing environment where emotions are explored through play, art, and creative therapies tailored to their developmental age. For teens, a supportive, non-judgmental space is offered to discuss challenges like anxiety, low mood, identity, peer relationships, school stress, and family dynamics. The team works holistically with the child or teen, their parents or caregivers, and school when appropriate, to provide consistent, well-rounded support. Evidence-based treatment modalities include EMDR, CBT, DBT, ACT, interpersonal therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and art/play therapy techniques. Every session is grounded in compassion, clinical expertise, and genuine connection.

  • Working with families

Parents and caregivers are central to the therapeutic process and are involved throughout treatment. The clinic works collaboratively with families, schools, and support teams to ensure therapy is purposeful, consistent, and aligned with each child's goals. Clinicians provide regular progress updates, written reports (especially for NDIS reviews), and guidance to help families navigate support systems. The team emphasises that consistent and meaningful therapeutic progress comes from working closely with families throughout the child's journey in therapy.

  • Meet the team

The team includes Victoria (Founder & Director), a Clinical Registrant and Trauma Clinician with over a decade of experience; Derya, a registered psychologist with 15+ years of experience working with teens and adults; Samarah, a Clinical Registrar with a Master's in Clinical Psychology and 10+ years' experience supporting neurodivergent individuals and those with intellectual disabilities; Mary, a Paediatric Psychologist with 15 years' experience supporting children and adolescents with anxiety, depression, and behavioural difficulties; and Shiv, a registered senior Psychologist with 10+ years' experience providing assessment and intervention across the lifespan. All clinicians are trained in evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, and interpersonal therapy, with specialisations in trauma, attachment, and developmental approaches.

  • Your first visit

A first appointment involves an initial assessment where the clinician takes time to understand the child or teen's unique needs, strengths, and goals. For children and teens with complex needs, this includes clinical interviews, behavioural observations, and comprehensive assessment. The clinic works collaboratively with parents and carers from the outset to gather information and establish consistent therapeutic progress. Those seeking initial support can contact the clinic for a free 15-minute phone consultation to discuss their needs and goals, after which the clinic will contact you within 24 hours to arrange an appointment. This initial conversation helps determine the best pathway forward for your family.
