  • Our approach

Sessions draw on evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Compassion Focused Therapy, tailored to your specific needs and goals. The approach values cultural sensitivity and may involve exploring how past experiences have shaped your current situation and perception of yourself. Sessions are designed to help you develop greater self-compassion and awareness of your capacity for growth. Both psychologists create a non-judgmental space that facilitates healing and growth, where you are treated as a person rather than a patient. You can expect individual sessions to be 50 minutes in duration, conducted either face-to-face or online via video or phone.

  • Meet the team

The practice is led by two psychologists: Michelle, who has extensive experience across Community Mental Health and Acute Crisis Teams in Greater Sydney, Occupational Rehabilitation for WorkCover, primary schools, and currently works with the Department of Communities and Justice in correctional centres and with Open Arms supporting veterans and defence force members; and Lisa Haack, a registered psychologist for 13 years with a Master of Forensic Psychology from the University of New South Wales, who has worked in both public and private sectors. Both psychologists create supportive, non-judgmental spaces tailored to client needs, with Michelle available face-to-face on Wednesdays and Thursdays and Lisa on Thursdays, plus online options available.
