Our approach
Uber Tutoring focuses on creating positive and vibrant learning environments where students develop confidence, reduce stress, and improve academic success. Sessions emphasise a growth mindset, encouraging students to believe they can overcome learning challenges, while tutors provide personalised teaching tailored to each child's individual needs and learning style. The approach combines professional instruction with emotional support, recognising that success depends on both educational outcomes and the quality of the learning environment. Classes are held in a small, private space with groups of 1–6 students, allowing each child to receive the attention they need and have their voice heard throughout their learning journey.
Meet the team
The Uber Tutoring team includes Christine McCormick (Director and Secondary Mathematics tutor with B.Ed Hons I in Maths, BSci, MTheol), Priyanka (Centre Manager), and a range of tutors specialising in primary and secondary Mathematics and English. Tutors including Will, Phil, Damien, Emma G, Ellen, Emma Q, Raffy, Pauline, Christine S, Sue and Alison bring enthusiasm and experience in the teaching and tutoring industry, staying current with NSW syllabus and NAPLAN standards. Both in-person and online tutoring are available.
