• Our approach

  Prime's teaching model centres on three key pillars: weekly theory classes that cover the NESA syllabus using innovative methods with real-world applications, personalised weekly tutoring sessions where students direct their own learning based on their individual needs, and additional resources including 400+ pages of study materials tailored to each student. Classes run ahead of school content, which helps students gain a head start on complex topics. The small class sizes encourage engagement and allow tutors to provide individual feedback. Prime aims to create an experience where students want to attend because they genuinely enjoy learning and see real improvement.

• Meet the team

  Prime's teaching team includes highly qualified educators who share three core traits: academic excellence backed by strong ATAR and university results, genuine passion for teaching and helping students succeed, and authentic care for each individual learner. The team includes specialists such as Ms Tegan Schetrumpf (MA, MLitt, Head of English with 14+ years' experience), Mr Matthew Sefton (PhD in English, University Medal), and other teachers with degrees from universities including Sydney, Newcastle, UNSW, and UTS. All staff are selected carefully—the organisation turns away many candidates—ensuring only those with both exceptional subject knowledge and proven communication and teaching skills are employed.
