Our approach
Treehouse Psychology works with clients using a Strengths Approach, which focuses on people's dignity, strengths, capacities, and rights, and involves working in partnership throughout the therapeutic process. Psychologists also use the Biopsychosocial approach and Bioecological Model to understand all factors influencing mental health, and work within a trauma-informed, attachment-focused framework. Sessions typically run for 50 minutes, with family sessions available at potentially longer durations. Treatment approaches include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Schema Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-focused therapy, all delivered from a client-centred perspective.
