• Our approach

  The approach is strengths-based, family-centered, and evidence-based, with a focus on empowering children and families to reach their potential. Sessions draw on a range of methods including Sounds-Write Synthetic Phonics, Hanen More Than Words, LAMP, PECS, and the Nuffield Dyspraxia Programme. Therapy is delivered flexibly across multiple settings—clinic, schools, preschools, home, or online—tailored to each child's communication needs. The team is committed to placing the child at the centre of all practice, supporting their autonomy and learning across all areas of speech and language development.

• Working with families

  Family involvement is central to the approach, with the team committed to providing ongoing support and family guidance throughout the therapy process. Parents and carers are engaged from the initial consultation onwards, where treatment options are discussed and personalized for each child. The flexible delivery model—including home visits and preschool/school sessions—allows therapists to work within the child's natural environments and support families in their own settings. This ensures parents are equipped with strategies and knowledge to support their child's communication development beyond individual therapy sessions.

• Meet the team

  Ashley Abraham is a Certified Speech Pathologist registered with Speech Pathology Australia and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Speech Pathology from the University of Sydney, plus a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. She has extensive experience delivering speech pathology in online, preschool, primary school, and private clinic settings, working with children from 12 months old with a range of communication needs including Autism, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, and Hearing Impairment. Ashley has completed specialized training in multiple therapeutic approaches and is genuinely passionate about empowering children and families to develop their autonomy and knowledge.

• Your first visit

  The first appointment begins with an initial assessment and consultation where the therapist learns more about what you're looking for. During this session, the therapist will assess your child's communication needs and discuss personalized treatment options with you. You'll have the opportunity to decide if the therapist is the right fit for your family before moving forward. Following this, the team works with you to set goals and then begins therapy sessions with regular progress tracking. This is followed by ongoing support and family guidance as your child progresses through their speech pathology journey.
