  • Our approach

Care is personalised, collaborative, and holistic, bringing together experts in psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy, and allied health to provide evidence-based support. Sessions focus on healing and growth, with clinicians walking alongside clients through their individual journeys. Whether for a child developing communication skills, an adult building resilience, or a family navigating challenges, the approach celebrates every step of progress. Flexible appointment arrangements are available—face-to-face, telephone, video, or in-home/on-site—so clients can access services in a way that suits them best. The practice creates a warm, welcoming space where individuals feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their care.

  • Meet the team

The team comprises qualified professionals across multiple disciplines. Psychologists—including clinical psychologists, educational and developmental psychologists, and registrars—form the core of the practice, led by Principal Psychologist and Director Zena Nikro. Occupational therapists include paediatric and senior-level practitioners with expertise in daily living and work skills. Speech pathologists assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders across all ages. The team also includes behaviour support practitioners trained in evidence-based strategies, exercise physiologists, physiotherapists, dietitians, nurse practitioners, mental health nurses, counsellors, and remedial therapists. All AHPRA-registered professionals deliver safe, accredited services, and the practice is founded, owned, and operated by health professionals committed to compassionate, high-quality care.

  • Your first visit

Your first session focuses on understanding your concerns and gathering background information about your situation. The clinician will discuss the goals you would like to work on, which helps guide future sessions and tailor support to your specific needs. This initial appointment establishes the foundation for treatment by creating space for open conversation and building rapport. The intake team takes time to understand what matters most to you or your child, ensuring the therapy plan is personalised from the start. This collaborative approach means you'll have a clear sense of direction and what to expect moving forward.
