  • Our approach

The Indigo Project offers online therapy with a progressive, inclusive approach focused on evidence-based practice and personalised care. Sessions are delivered via secure telehealth, allowing you to connect with a therapist from a comfortable space of your choosing. The practice emphasises finding the right therapeutic fit through a bespoke matchmaking process, with therapists trained in various modalities including EMDR, cognitive behavioural therapy, and counselling. Each therapist brings their own expertise and lived experience to support clients through life's challenges, from trauma and anxiety to relationship difficulties and burnout.

  • Meet the team

The team comprises registered psychologists, clinical psychologists, senior psychologists, psychotherapists and counsellors with varied qualifications and experience. Team members include Registered Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, and Senior Psychologists, alongside Psychotherapists and Counsellors. Many therapists are trained in specialised modalities such as EMDR therapy. The practice emphasises that therapists are carefully vetted for their expertise and understanding, with experience across diverse areas including trauma, anxiety, ADHD, depression, relationship counselling and LGBTQIA+ support. All therapists are Australian-based, licensed and accredited professionals who bring personal lived experience and progressive values to their work.

  • Your first visit

Your first session begins with a thorough history-taking to help the therapist understand your needs and goals, allowing them to develop a tailored approach from the start. This initial assessment establishes a framework for your care and helps you gain insights into the patterns and symptoms you're experiencing. The practice also offers a Perfect Match Promise: if you don't connect with your therapist in the first or second session, you'll be matched with someone new and your next session will be on the house. Sessions are conducted online in a private, secure environment where you can work through your concerns with expert guidance and receive practical tools for mental wellness.
