Our approach
At SCPS, therapy is grounded in evidence-based practices tailored to each child's unique abilities and needs. The practice operates as a Neurodiversity-Affirming service, which means therapists acknowledge and respect each person's inherent value while focusing on improving overall quality of life and affirming identity. Sessions are designed with an open mind, providing support that maps to a child's individual strengths rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. The registered child psychologists bring over 10 years of specialised experience in working with children and adolescents, and collaborate with schools, allied health professionals, and medical practitioners when needed to support positive change.
