• Our approach

  Super Kids uses Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), a science-based approach grounded in learning principles that applies to all children. When your child first arrives, the team conducts an assessment to identify their current skills and any gaps, then designs individualised programs that break priority skills into smaller, manageable steps. Sessions gradually increase in complexity as your child works towards their short and long-term goals. All programs are delivered with a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming philosophy that focuses on building trust and safety, reducing distress, and teaching from a place of joy.

• Working with families

  Family involvement is central to Super Kids' approach, with regular parent support sessions built into weekly visits and ongoing communication to enhance, educate, and support you through evidence-based practices. Parent training and behaviour technician training are key components of the program, ensuring you understand and can support your child's learning at home. The team is transparent about goal-setting and tracks your child's progress regularly, providing reports and evidence of how services are helping your child reach their goals. Collaboration across all the professionals in your child's life—whether daycare staff, teachers, or other therapists—is encouraged through email, phone, or face-to-face meetings to ensure consistency and get the most out of all services.

• Meet the team

  All Super Kids programs are designed, implemented and supervised by Certified Behaviour Analysts (CBAs) who are highly qualified practitioners providing evidence-based behaviour-analytic services. Your Behaviour Consultant typically visits weekly and oversees monthly team meetings, parent support sessions, behaviour technician training, daycare or school visits, programming, assessment and report writing. Programs are implemented by Super Kids behaviour technicians or independent behaviour technicians that families hire. The team collaborates with other professionals like occupational therapists, speech pathologists, teachers and educators to provide a consistent, coordinated approach to your child's learning.

• Your first visit

  Your first appointment begins with a free 15-minute chat, which can take place over the phone or at the Gladesville clinic, to understand your child's needs and help determine the best service for your family. During this initial consultation, the team will discuss what brings you in, explore your child's unique situation, and establish which service offering is the right fit. If you proceed, a comprehensive assessment will identify your child's current skills and skill deficits across all developmental areas. From there, the team designs an individualised program tailored specifically to your child and your family's needs.
