About Stellar Kids OT
Stellar Kids OT is a paediatric occupational therapy service providing early intervention support to kids aged 0-7 in Ballarat, Victoria. We are a mobile service that provides an integrative, playful and strengths-based approach to supporting your child reach their goals. The primary goal is to enable people to participate in chosen activities of everyday life to their full potential, using occupations and interests as both a therapeutic tool and a goal for therapy.

Our approach
Stellar Kids OT uses an integrative, playful and strengths-based approach to therapy, with occupations and your child's interests serving as both the therapeutic tool and the goal. Sessions are specifically designed to meet each child and family's individual needs, and the therapist works collaboratively with families, educators and your child's professional team. The service supports a range of areas including sensory preferences, social participation, emotional regulation, self-care skills, play and motor skills, alongside providing education and referrals to empower families.

The service works collaboratively with families, educators and the child's professional team to support therapeutic needs. Education is provided to empower families and caregivers, and the therapist provides information and referrals to community services as needed.
Meet the team
Edwina Luker is the owner and occupational therapist, holding a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Occupational Therapy from La Trobe University (completed 2015). She has worked with children of all ages in homes, schools and clinic settings, and has completed extensive additional training in areas including The Alert Program, DIR/Floortime, the Early Start Denver Model, sensory processing, executive functioning, autism assessment and trauma-responsive practice.
