Our approach
Skill Sense uses a parent-centred, evidence-informed approach grounded in Ayres Sensory Integration and over 20 years of clinical experience. Rather than focusing on labels, the provider looks at what's happening for each child and family, uncovering strengths and identifying underlying reasons for struggles with everyday activities. Sessions are structured and practical, with strategies tailored to your real life and designed to create meaningful progress at home, in the classroom, and beyond. The approach recognises that what looks like misbehaviour or inattention is often a sign your child is struggling to process the world around them. Flexible service delivery includes telehealth consultations, coaching, and online programs to fit your family's needs.
