Our approach

SpeechEase provides fun, evidence-based, and holistic individualised speech therapy services for children with speech, language, pragmatic and literacy difficulties. Sessions use a variety of evidence-based methods tailored to each child's unique needs and challenges. The team is committed to delivering a warm, friendly and welcoming experience that helps children find their confidence and express who they are. Services are offered both in-clinic in Townsville and Mackay, and online via telehealth, with flexible scheduling to suit families' needs.

Working with families

The provider is person and family-centred, viewing parents and carers as experts on their own family. Progress reports are prepared regularly, usually every 6–12 months or as needed, with consent sought before preparation. The coordination team communicates with families about supports, budgets, and any changes to services. Families are encouraged to share feedback through confidential questionnaires, and the leadership team follows up when contact details are provided. The clinic values hearing from families to improve and ensure the best possible care.
