  • Our approach

Speechability follows an individualised, evidence-based approach centred on understanding each child's unique needs and goals. Sessions are collaborative, with the team working alongside families to support children in finding their voice and being heard. The therapy process begins with a discovery call to understand your child's situation, followed by a full assessment, after which a detailed therapy program is developed and adjusted as needed. Amanda, the clinic director, combines her background in nursing with speech pathology to deliver compassionate, high-quality care tailored to each child, with early intervention as a key focus.

  • Working with families

Families are invited to be partners in the therapy process, with the team taking time to understand each family's goals and deliverables for their child. For new clients, communication begins with a discovery call to discuss your child's needs. For ongoing clients, your speech pathologist maps out therapy appointments with you and sends reminders the day before each session. General communication is handled via email and the online booking system to keep costs manageable.

  • Your first visit

The first step is a free 15–30 minute discovery call where the team asks simple questions to gain an initial understanding of your child's needs and answers any questions you have. Following this, your child will be booked in for a full assessment. If your child is already receiving treatment elsewhere, the team will discuss how to transition smoothly. After the assessment is complete, a detailed therapy program is written and treatment can begin, with adjustments made as needed.
