The clinic works with each person and their support network to determine their specific values, priorities and needs, with flexibility built into the assessment pathway. Clinicians integrate up-to-date research and best-practice guidelines while using a variety of assessment and outcome measures to track progress against your goals. The clinic aims to maintain a safe, inclusive and non-judgemental environment, taking into account your culture, values, cognitive and communication needs, and environmental factors such as stressors and supports at home and in the community.

  • Meet the team

The multidisciplinary team includes experienced clinicians with postgraduate qualifications in Psychiatry, Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing and Counselling. The team offers expertise in medical treatments, cognitive-behaviour therapy, mindfulness-based psychotherapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, schema therapy, trauma-informed psychotherapy, eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing, and other modalities tailored to neurodivergent clients. The team is led by Dr Bradleigh Hayhow, a Consultant Neuropsychiatrist and Director, with additional psychiatrists, clinical neuropsychologists, clinical psychologists and occupational therapists, each with substantial experience in autism and neurodevelopmental conditions.

  • Your first visit

At the initial assessment, you will attend a thorough appointment with a Psychiatrist or Nurse Practitioner who will gather detailed information and schedule subsequent assessment appointments with a Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Neuropsychologist or Occupational Therapist as needed. Following all assessments, the multidisciplinary team meets to synthesise the information and arrive at a formal clinical diagnosis. A comprehensive report including therapeutic recommendations is then reviewed at a face-to-face feedback session with your Psychiatrist, with copies provided in both electronic and printed formats.
