Our approach
At Shelley Occupational Therapy, sessions use play as the primary tool for learning and development. The therapist creates fun, engaging activities tailored to each child's unique needs, focusing on building motor skills, confidence, and independence in everyday activities. With a child and family-centred approach, the therapy is individualised to support your child's strengths while addressing areas like fine and gross motor skills, sensory challenges, social interaction, and school readiness. Sessions foster a positive learning experience where children develop the abilities they need to thrive and participate confidently in daily life. The therapist has a particular interest in helping neurodiverse children, including those with autism and ADHD, and specialises in sensory integration and handwriting development.
