  • Our approach

At Recess Psychology, therapy is built on creating genuine connection and trust through a client-centred, playful, and evidence-based approach. Sessions might involve sitting and talking, playing board games, or shooting hoops—whatever works best for each person. Vincent uses a process and relationship-driven framework that draws on cognitive-behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, play therapy, motivational interviewing, and interpersonal therapy. Throughout treatment, you'll be guided in understanding your mental health and wellbeing, while also helping Vincent understand you and your context so you can work together to overcome challenges and grow.
