Our approach
At Potential Paediatrics, therapy is child-led, strengths-based and tailored to each child's individual needs. The approach embraces neurodiversity-affirming, play-based methods where sessions are fun, motivating and customised to align with your child's interests, all while following evidence-based methods like Ayres sensory integration. Therapists use engaging, play-based activities such as building games and movement-based play through swings, trampolines and other equipment designed to help children move, explore and feel safe. Sessions focus on fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, emotional regulation and social skills, with the goal of supporting children to move, play, connect and build skills for everyday life. Parental involvement is encouraged, with guidance provided on how to reinforce therapy at home.
