  • Our approach

OT Country Care believes that engagement in everyday occupations and activities is essential for health and well-being. Sessions are collaborative and client-centred, with therapists working alongside you to identify and achieve your goals. The team listens to clients and families, recognising you as the experts in your own health needs and encouraging active participation throughout therapy. Services are flexible and accessible—therapy can happen in the clinic, your home, school, or workplace, removing barriers to care for country South Australians. The approach emphasises enablement and holistic support, helping children develop independence and participate meaningfully in their daily lives.

  • Working with families

The team strongly values family involvement and partnership. They believe parents and carers are the experts when it comes to their child's needs and goals, and encourage active participation in all aspects of therapy planning and decision-making. Communication is ongoing, with therapists listening carefully to family perspectives and building strong rapport with both the child and their family members. The team works collaboratively with you to understand what matters most, tailoring services to fit your family's priorities and circumstances. Regular discussion ensures therapy goals remain meaningful and aligned with your child's everyday life at home and school.
