Our approach
Orthophonie Sydney supports children and adolescents with speech, language, literacy and numeracy difficulties, with particular expertise in serving bilingual and multilingual children. The speech pathologists are native French speakers who are fully bilingual in French and English, often multilingual, giving them an in-depth understanding of the specific needs of children growing up in bilingual or multilingual contexts. This approach recognises that a child's true language capabilities may be underestimated if assessed in only one language. The practice offers both face-to-face and online sessions tailored to individual needs. No doctor referral is necessary to access their services, and Medicare or health fund rebates may apply.
