• Our approach

  At Harley Child, therapy is delivered through a people-first, flexible approach that prioritises what works best for each child and family. The practice offers psychology, art psychotherapy, and speech pathology services with a focus on creating a warm, personalised experience. Art therapy sessions use visual art-making, drama, dance and movement to support children's emotional and mental wellbeing, with emphasis on the creative process rather than the finished product. Psychology sessions are tailored to each young person's needs, while speech pathology services address communication difficulties including stuttering. Throughout all services, the team's priority is making children and families feel genuinely cared for and supported in their therapeutic journey.

  Harley Child is a multidisciplinary clinic with four experienced practitioners. Belinda Blecher is a Child & Adolescent Psychologist, Sam Atherton is a Child, Adolescent & Adult Psychologist, Danielle Goodman is a Speech Pathologist, and Shelly Kalinko is an Adolescent, Family & Adult Clinical Counsellor. The team is described as experienced professionals with a wealth of knowledge in their respective fields. All practitioners bring warmth, professionalism and genuine care, creating a personalised approach to support each child and family's unique needs.
