  • Our approach

The service takes a neurodiversity-affirming approach, offering strategies, education and tools that work with how a child's brain works rather than against it. Sessions focus on supporting autistic and ADHD children and their families to lead authentically neurodivergent lives. The philosophy moves away from deficit-based thinking and the idea of forcing children to fit a mold, instead recognising that traditional strategies may not work for everyone. The practice uses evidence-based methods combined with neuro-affirming, autistic-led narratives to help families understand and support their child's individual needs and strengths.

  • Working with families

The service is structured around supporting families, with detailed parent workshops covering key issues around supporting autistic and ADHD children. Parents and carers are provided with education, tools, and resources to understand their child's diagnosis and how to support them at home and school. The website emphasises education as the gateway to better practice and outcomes, offering comprehensive neuro-affirming workshops and accessible materials designed for parents and educators.
