  • Our approach

Therapy at OK Psychology focuses on evidence-based treatments tailored to each client's needs and goals. The psychologists use a range of approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and hypnotherapy. Standard consultations are 50 minutes long, and the practice aims to equip people with practical skills and strategies to function better and prevent problems. Sessions are negotiated with clients to suit their individual circumstances, and sometimes a single appointment may provide tools to resolve an immediate problem.

  • Meet the team

The practice is led by Simon Andrews, the Principal Psychologist and a registered psychologist since 1996 with a Masters in Psychology and membership in the Clinical College of the Australian Psychological Society. He is supported by a team of qualified psychologists including Demelza Sears, Ann Weir, Aditi Shirali, Jodie Williams, Danielle Forward, and Reza Danish, each bringing their own experience and expertise in areas such as ADHD, autism, anxiety, trauma, and various therapeutic approaches. An administration team including Practice Manager Fiona Ferguson and receptionists supports the delivery of professional services. The team collectively offers experience across all age groups and a wide range of psychological issues.
