Our approach
Nurture Allied Health SA uses a neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach centred on play. Therapy is never one-size-fits-all; instead, the team looks at the whole child—their nervous system, strengths, environment, and daily demands. Sessions are play-led and child-centred, helping children feel safe and relaxed while exploring meaningful development. All therapy respects body autonomy and does not use compliance-based approaches. The provider presumes competence and honours sensory differences, focusing on supporting self-advocacy, confidence, and genuine participation in everyday life rather than "normalising" children.
