Our approach
NumberWorks'nWords uses a personalised, curriculum-based approach to tutoring in maths and English. Each child's learning programme is individually tailored to their needs, preferred learning style, and pace, combining traditional teaching with engaging, structured support. One-to-one sessions are one hour long, delivered after school on weekdays (with some centres offering Saturday lessons), and use a mix of one-on-one tuition from expert tutors alongside computer-based exercises, books, pen and paper, and other resources. The tutors are fully trained, experienced specialists who act as positive role models, building confidence and real progress rather than relying solely on computer-based learning. Sessions follow the school curriculum and focus on helping each child unlock their full potential in a supportive, comfortable environment.
