Our approach
NumberWorks'nWords uses a tailored, one-to-one tutoring approach combining traditional teaching with structured support to build confidence and real progress in maths and English. Tutors are fully trained experts who adapt their teaching to match each child's preferred learning style, ensuring they understand concepts clearly and can engage with their studies. Sessions follow the school curriculum and use a mix of computer-based exercises, books, pen and paper, and other resources to reinforce learning. Every child receives personalised instruction from their tutor—new concepts are explained in person, not through computers alone. The focus is on celebrating each child's progress through regular feedback, certificates as they advance through levels, and creating a supportive environment where confidence grows alongside academic skill.
