Our approach
At Minds of All Kinds Psychology, therapy is delivered through a neuroaffirming, trauma-informed, client-centred approach that celebrates the diversity of minds and honours each person's unique strengths, needs, and lived experiences. Sessions draw on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and play-based interventions tailored to each client's developmental stage. When working with children, a holistic approach involves both the child and their carers, teachers, and other supports to best help families work towards their goals. Sessions address a wide range of presentations including anxiety, depression, emotional and behavioural regulation, school engagement, and life transitions, all grounded in the latest research and best practices in psychology.
