  • Our approach

At MEGAbility, the focus is on respecting each child as a unique person through a neurodiversity-affirming, play and relationship-based approach. Therapy sessions are fun and engaging, with the therapist often on the floor playing, singing and laughing with children rather than ticking boxes. The approach celebrates differences, follows children's interests, and prioritises connection and regulation above all. Sessions aim to help children grow in confidence, develop new skills, and thrive as their authentic selves. Goals are functional and meaningful, supporting real-life skills that make a genuine difference in daily life.

  • Working with families

The therapist works closely with families, teachers and other important people in a child's life to ensure skills are generalised into everyday environments. Families are seen as the true experts in their own journey, and the therapist's role is to partner with them to help their child thrive. This collaborative approach means parents and carers are active partners in supporting their child's development.

  • Meet the team

Meg is an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist with an Honours degree from The University of Sydney, where she completed her thesis on toilet training children on the autism spectrum. She has worked across NGOs, mainstream and special education settings, and private practice in both Australia and the UK, supporting children with a wide variety of neurodiverse, developmental, physical, neurological and sensory needs. In addition to clinical work, she has published academic papers in international journals and delivered lectures for Occupational Therapy university programs, while also supporting the next generation of therapists as a clinical educator and marker.
