Our approach
Sessions at Mandurah Psychology are tailored to each individual's needs, priorities, and goals. The psychologist works collaboratively with clients, moving at their pace while fostering trust and rapport. A range of evidence-based approaches are used, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and solution focused therapies (SFT), along with psychoeducation. The 50-minute sessions focus on exploring new coping strategies and gaining support to navigate complex challenges. This trauma-informed approach is designed to help improve mental health and well-being across a range of presentations.
