Our approach
The practice embraces evidence-based techniques and therapies with a continuous learning approach to psychological practice. Therapists tailor their style to individual clients—for example, some work primarily from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) background while others use an eclectic responsive approach that respects each client's worldview, spiritual, cultural and religious beliefs. Sessions are individual or group consultations lasting 50 minutes, conducted in a professional, confidential and supportive environment where clients feel heard and understood.
Meet the team
The team includes registered psychologists (Julie-Anne Davies, Andrew Spring, Amanda Brown, Amy Pollock, Bradley Calamel, Dionne Watkins, Isobel Youngs, and Zahoor Cheema), registered counsellors (Darrell Collett with 20+ years' experience in grief and relationship therapy, and Linda Flewker-Barker with 30+ years' experience), and a social worker (Todd Ellery). Several team members have specialist interests—for instance, Amy Pollock focuses on child and adolescent counselling, Bradley Calamel has expertise in ADHD, trauma and parenting, and Isobel Youngs has a keen interest in children and adolescents. Qualifications range from bachelor's degrees through postgraduate diplomas and advanced certifications in areas such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Family and Relationship Therapy, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
