Our approach
Therapy sessions focus on evidence-based practices to develop foundational "learning to learn" skills of communication, toleration and collaboration. Based on each child and family's unique needs, tailored programs are delivered to build life skills including communication, self-care, social skills, behaviour management, and daily routines. Sessions address specific challenges like aggression, self-harm, elopement and social withdrawal by developing proactive strategies to reduce problem behaviours and replace them with positive alternatives. Therapists work in home, day care, kindy or school settings to provide individualised support. The approach emphasises embedding healthy routines and improving engagement with parents, siblings, peers and school environments.
