Our approach
At Little Hearts Occupational Therapy, sessions are play-based and developmentally appropriate, tailored to each child's unique strengths and interests. The approach is strengths-focused and individualised, supporting children to participate confidently in the daily activities that matter most to them and their families. Therapy embraces neurodiversity-affirmation and prioritises emotional safety and wellbeing alongside skill-building. Sessions take place in environments where children feel most comfortable—at home, at school, or within everyday routines—rather than in clinical settings. This collaborative approach works closely with families and schools to ensure therapy is meaningful and integrated into real life.
