Little Allied Health provides family-centred early intervention care using evidence-based approaches tailored to your child's choices, challenges, goals and priorities. The team of paediatric speech pathologists, audiologists and psychologists work collaboratively to support children and families. Sessions are designed to be engaging and interactive, with clinicians who are passionate about building communication capacity through play and learning. Audiologists assess and manage hearing and listening difficulties, speech pathologists address communication disorders, and child and family counsellors support social, emotional and mental wellbeing. All clinicians are university qualified and accredited with their respective professional bodies, committed to providing gold standard care reflective of the latest research and clinical practices.

  • Working with families

Family involvement is central to the approach at Little Allied Health. Clinicians work collaboratively with clients and families to tailor evidence-based supports to your child's choices, challenges, goals and priorities. The team communicates with families throughout the assessment and intervention process, explaining findings and discussing funding options and next steps. For families with children who are deaf or hard of hearing, the Little Listeners early intervention program is specifically designed to support the whole family. Clinicians are enthusiastic partners in sessions and value play as the safest and best way to learn, meaning parents are encouraged to participate in and understand their child's learning journey.
