  • Our approach

Sessions take a collaborative approach where psychologists work alongside each child to help them achieve their individual goals and manage difficult feelings. Parenting and school support is provided, with strategies shared to help build skills outside the practice. Sessions can be conducted at the practice or online, and psychologists are happy to attend a client's school to help assess and support learning in the classroom. The centre uses evidence-based strategies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).

  • Working with families

Parenting and school support is provided, with strategies passed on to the client's family and teachers to help build skills outside the practice. The centre values collaboration with parents and other professionals to ensure holistic and meaningful outcomes. Psychologists work with parents to help them manage difficult behaviours and support their child's development, and the centre's administration team is dedicated to ensuring all families have a professional and positive experience.
