Our approach
Language Connect uses a dynamic, evidence-based approach tailored to each child's needs, with both individual and group therapy options. Individual sessions are typically used for younger children or articulation work, and parents are encouraged to participate actively in these sessions to support their child's progress. Group therapy sessions are led by a qualified therapist with an experienced therapy aide and focus on developing social skills, social language, attention and focus strategies, phonemic awareness, and receptive and expressive language skills. The practice maintains a holistic approach to treating speech and language difficulties, drawing on a wide range of therapy resources. Sessions also support emerging literacy development at different levels of language competence.
