• Our approach

  Every child and family is unique, so Harriet takes time to understand your child's strengths, interests and family context before planning support. Sessions use play as a central tool for developing speech, language, pre-literacy, social and cognitive skills within your everyday family routines. Rather than isolating therapy, support happens naturally throughout your day together—at home, childcare, kinder or school. Harriet also works closely with the key people in your child's life, including parents, carers, grandparents, siblings and other professionals, to build everyone's skills and confidence. She specialises in supporting neurodivergent children, those with developmental delays and children with trauma experiences, using trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches including Hanen, Circle of Security and Berry Street Education Model principles.

• Working with families

  Family involvement is central to how Harriet works—she sees parents, carers and other important people in your child's life as essential partners in therapy, not just observers. She builds your skills and confidence so you can support your child's development throughout everyday activities, rather than only during therapy sessions. She also provides coaching to early childhood educators using evidence-based principles, so the strategies are reinforced across all of your child's settings. Regular communication and collaboration with you, carers, siblings and other professionals like teachers and therapists helps ensure everyone is working together consistently to support your child's progress.

• Meet the team

  Harriet Wilson is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist who is the provider, bringing extensive experience in early intervention, family services and NDIS support. She holds current Police Check and Working With Children Check clearances and has specialised training in multiple evidence-based programs including Hanen 'It Takes Two to Talk', Hanen 'Learning Language and Loving It', Circle of Security Parenting and the Berry Street Education Model. She also has comprehensive training in trauma-informed practice, understanding how trauma affects the developing brain and how to create safe, supportive environments. While Harriet provides the direct speech pathology services, she works collaboratively with other professionals in your child's life such as occupational therapists, psychologists and teachers as needed.
