  • Our approach

    Kites takes a personalised approach to early intervention and school-age support, building tailored solutions for each child and family. Therapy is delivered through a range of specialist services including speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, psychology, exercise physiology, social work, dietitian services, dog-assisted therapy, and hydrotherapy. The team works together with families to develop a support network specifically suited to each child's needs. Sessions are designed to help children grow physically, emotionally and intellectually, enabling them to participate and build independence in everyday activities. Online therapy is also available to meet changing needs while keeping clients and families safe and healthy.

    Family involvement is central to the Kites approach—services are delivered by working together with families as partners in building support networks and solutions. Parents and carers receive information, advice and assistance to help them understand how best to support their children to thrive. Social workers specifically provide counselling and support for families, helping parents navigate their child's development. The team communicates with families throughout the process, initially discussing needs and ongoing goals, and maintains contact to adjust support as required. Communication happens through your initial contact, ongoing appointments, and the team is available during business hours (8:30am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday) at their Victoria Park location.
