Key Worker - Connect and Achieve

A dedicated Key Worker serves as the family's main point of contact, offering guidance, coordination, and practical strategies tailored to the child's developmental needs. Support is provided for building skills, routines, and confidence at home, in the community, and within education settings.

Work with children to manage big feelings, transitions, and routines using play-based and strengths-based strategies. Includes coaching for families and educators to reduce challenging behaviours and build positive coping and communication skills.

Support children to express wants, needs, and emotions in positive ways through spoken language, visuals, or gestures. Help build early social skills so children can connect meaningfully with peers, siblings, and adults.

Coordination involving families, teachers, schools, and other therapists to ensure an early intervention approach is implemented. Includes bringing in other experts such as OTs, Physios, Speech Pathologists, and Allied Health Assistants when required.
