What Integrative Psychology Associates helps with

ADHD Assessments

A structured evaluation by a psychologist or psychiatrist to determine whether ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) is present. It typically includes questionnaires, clinical interviews, rating scales and sometimes cognitive testing, and results in recommendations for support and treatment.

ASD Assessments

Specialised assessment providing information about autism spectrum disorder and associated behaviours that impact daily functioning.

Psycho-Educational Assessments

Assessment conducted when a child is experiencing learning challenges or not progressing at expected rates, or when there are concerns about development or exceptional needs requiring school adjustments.

Child & Adolescent Psychology

Assessment and therapy provided by a registered psychologist to support mental health, emotional wellbeing and behaviour. Psychologists work across the lifespan — helping children, adolescents and adults understand and manage challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma and learning differences.

Parent Education & Support

Individual sessions providing information, support and guidance to help parents understand and manage their child's behaviour and emotions, and manage parental stress.

Autism Spectrum Disorder Support

Ongoing therapeutic and practical support for autistic children and adults to build communication, social, daily living and self-regulation skills. Supports are tailored to the individual's strengths and goals and may be delivered across home, school and community settings.

Depression & Anxiety Treatment

Evidence-based treatment using CBT and ACT to support mental health and manage worry, panic attacks, social anxiety, and general stress.

Trauma & PTSD Counselling

Compassionate, evidence-based approach to healing from past traumatic experiences and managing associated distressing reactions.

Pain Management

A multidisciplinary approach to reducing and managing persistent pain, combining psychological strategies, physiotherapy, exercise physiology and education. The goal is to improve quality of life and daily functioning, not just to reduce pain intensity.

Obsessions & Compulsions Support

Compassionate support to help individuals understand and manage repetitive, distressing unwanted thoughts, impulses and compulsive behaviours.

Stress Management

Evidence-based strategies and therapies that help individuals identify sources of stress and build resilience and coping skills. Approaches may include mindfulness, relaxation techniques, CBT and lifestyle adjustments.

Emotional Regulation & Behavioural Support

Individualised therapy helping individuals develop coping strategies and self-regulation skills for emotional competence and appropriate behavioural responses.

Sleep Difficulties Support

Education and guidance to support the attainment of healthy sleep and best functioning for children and adults.

Relationship & Family Counselling

Support for strengthening communication, conflict resolution, and emotional connections within families.

Workplace & Occupational Stress

Support for managing burnout, workplace relationships, and career-related anxiety.

Telehealth Psychologist Services

Online psychological care accessible from home, providing the same expert support as in-person appointments.

Our approach

The clinic provides individually tailored, nonjudgemental, and compassionate psychology services delivered by experienced female psychologists. All therapy integrates evidence-based approaches, with sessions available in-person at the Adelaide clinic or online via telehealth. The service emphasises building strong therapeutic relationships based on safety and trust, and works with both children and their parents using a family systems focus when needed. Sessions are led by AHPRA-registered practitioners who bring clinical expertise alongside genuine warmth and professional care.

Working with families

Parents are actively involved in the therapeutic process. The clinic works with both children and their parents, including a family systems focus in support. Parents are welcome to book their own sessions to access individual information, support and guidance for understanding and managing their child's behaviour and emotions, and parent support sessions may also help with managing stress and dealing with difficult situations and transition periods.

Meet the team

The team consists of Alicia Wilcock (Principal Psychologist), Jessica Wilcock (Senior Psychologist), Melissa Bailey (Registered Psychologist), Dr Lauren Frensham (Clinical Psychologist), and Sahar Far (Behaviour Therapist and Allied Health Assistant). All psychologists are AHPRA-registered female practitioners who are fully registered with AHPRA, APS, Medicare, and NDIS. The team brings evidence-based clinical expertise and is committed to high professional standards under South Australian law and AHPRA regulations.

Your first visit

Initial consultations are typically 90 minutes long and involve the psychologist taking time to understand your concerns, what support you are seeking, and what kind of approach is likely to help most. You can contact the team via a web enquiry form or direct contact, and they aim to respond within five working days. The initial appointment may involve discussing whether therapy, assessment, or both are most appropriate for your situation, with the process explained in plain language so you don't need to figure everything out alone.
