Our approach
At In Sync Therapy Hub, therapy is grounded in evidence-based Ayres Sensory Integration and neurodevelopmental principles, with a strong focus on early intervention and building strong foundations. Sessions are individualized and play-based, designed to explore each child's unique sensory profile and strengths while building confidence and resilience. The approach is family-centered and collaborative, partnering closely with parents and including siblings where appropriate. By developing foundational skills through purposeful, neurodiversity-affirming support, children are empowered to grow with confidence at home, at school, and in their community.
Working with families
Family involvement is central to the In Sync approach, with strong emphasis on partnership with parents throughout the therapy journey. Parents complete a questionnaire before the first appointment and receive a clinical intake call from a clinician to discuss the assessment and preparation. Communication is ongoing, with parents receiving detailed feedback sessions following assessments, clear insights and recommendations, and collaborative planning for therapy goals. Siblings are included where appropriate, ensuring the whole family feels supported, informed, and empowered.
Meet the team
The team includes occupational therapists and physiotherapists with over 20 years of combined experience and expertise in Ayres Sensory Integration. Services include joint OT and physio assessments and sessions, as well as individual practitioner appointments, supported by a friendly Business Support Team. The clinic provides interdisciplinary care, with clinical professionals offering comprehensive assessments, clinical reports, and educational observations. Team members are qualified in evidence-based sensory integration and neurodevelopmental practice.
Your first visit
At your first appointment, your child will attend a comprehensive in-clinic assessment in a warm, family-centered environment where the team takes time to listen, observe, and partner with you. The assessment explores your child's unique sensory profile, strengths, development, and everyday experiences. On the same day, you'll receive a feedback session (usually online) with clear insights and practical recommendations tailored to your child's needs. Following this, your child begins a personalized block of therapy matched to your family's goals, with progress reviewed at the end to determine next steps.
